The Museum of Natural History
It is behind the Weituo Buddha Hall. There are
exhibition halls, specimen rooms, laboratories,
library, classrooms and meeting rooms in this museum.
All of them are open to colleges and institutes
for education and research. The exhibition hall
is divided into 6 rooms for displaying more than
700 valuable and rare specimens collected from Tianmu
Mountain. Among them 126 specimens are of vertebrates,
280 insects, and 280 plants. An exhibition room
was specially set up for displaying more than 200
pieces of valuable calligraphy and paintings of
famous Chinese artists.
