Dragon Pond and Green Gully (龙潭碧涧)

Called Dragon Pool in ancient times, the pond is under the northeastern peak of the West Tianmu Mountain. In the Song Dynasty, when it was droughty, emissaries were sent by the emperors to cast coins into this pond as to pray for rain. In the 1930's, it was the production site of the film "Dream of the Peach Garden", acted by Hu Die, a famous actress.
